FileDNA™ is designed for broad compatibility and straightforward integration into existing security infrastructure. It requires no specialized hardware, no third-party runtime dependencies, and no persistent agent installation on endpoints.API and SDK Integration
- RESTful API. FileDNA™ exposes a comprehensive RESTful API that allows any system capable of making HTTP requests to submit files for analysis and receive sanitized files and analysis reports in return. Integration with email security gateways, web proxies, document management systems, SIEM platforms, and AI data pipelines can typically be completed in days.
- SDK for Developers. A full software development kit is available for teams that prefer direct binary integration. The SDK supports embedding FileDNA™ analysis directly within existing cybersecurity products, threat intelligence platforms, and custom security tooling. Both Windows and Linux environments are supported with no third-party dependencies required.
- Platform-Agnostic Architecture. FileDNA™ runs on any current version of Microsoft Windows and a wide range of Linux distributions. It does not depend on external tools, virtualization environments, or cloud service dependencies. Deployment options include cloud-hosted service, on-premises installation, and hybrid configurations that meet data residency and sovereignty requirements.
Compatibility with Security Platforms
FileDNA™ is compatible with and designed to complement the full range of enterprise security platforms:
- SIEM (Security Information and Event Management): Analysis reports feed directly into SIEM correlation engines, providing structured event data on every file processed.
- EDR (Endpoint Detection and Response): FileDNA™ operates as a pre-execution layer that reduces the volume of threats reaching the endpoint, complementing EDR’s post-execution behavioral detection.
- IDPS (Intrusion Detection and Prevention Systems): File-level sanitization at network ingress points reduces the malicious payload volume that IDPS engines need to process.
- NGFW (Next-Generation Firewalls): SSL inspection integration allows FileDNA™ to analyze files traversing encrypted channels.
- Email Security Gateways: All inbound attachments can be processed by FileDNA™ before delivery to user inboxes.
- Document Management Systems: FileDNA™ scans every uploaded document before storage and every downloaded document before delivery.
- AI Data Processing Pipelines: Documents and files fed to AI systems, including training data repositories, document summarization tools, and agentic workflow platforms, are sanitized before AI processing.
